How Our Network Works
Share your project details
An introduction, then a project conversation
The word network can sound like a single construction company. Here, it means independent local providers. Starttransferred Concrete helps connect you with a provider; the provider discusses the site, prepares a quote, and handles any agreed construction. Ask which business would appear on your contract and who would answer project questions once work begins. That distinction should be clear before you commit.
Request a callback to check provider availability for your driveway or patio project.
Give the provider a useful picture
Your first conversation does not require exact measurements or a finished drawing. Explain whether you want a new driveway, a replacement driveway, or a stamped patio. Describe the available space and how you use it. Mention pooling water, slopes, nearby entrances, and existing surfaces. The provider can explain whether a site visit is needed before giving a meaningful proposal. Be clear that you are requesting new work.
Ask what sits behind the price
Two quotes can describe different amounts of work, even when the finished surfaces sound alike. Ask questions that make the scope easier to compare:
- What preparation and base work does this site need?
- How would water move away from the surface and house?
- Where are joints proposed, and why?
- What finish suits our parking or patio use?
- What removal, disposal, and cleanup are included?
- Who handles any required permits and inspections?
For patterned surfaces, also ask to discuss samples, sealing, and wet-weather traction. A pattern alone does not tell you how a patio will feel underfoot.
Put household access on the agenda
Busy schedules belong in the planning conversation. Tell the provider which doors you use, where vehicles normally park, and whether anyone needs an accessible route. Ask about each stage of work and the conditions for using the surface afterward. Weather may affect scheduling. Request an explanation of how changes would be communicated, rather than building your household plans around an unconfirmed date.
Choose after the details are clear
You decide whether to accept a provider's proposal. Read the scope, payment terms, exclusions, and any written workmanship terms before signing. Ask who handles concerns during and after construction, and keep that business's contact details. A referral does not require you to purchase work. To begin, use the request form to describe your new driveway or patio and the questions you want a provider to address. Include access needs so they can be discussed early.
Reach a local provider
Planning new concrete? Share your project and access needs. Starttransferred Concrete can help connect you with a local provider to discuss options and an estimate.
